Kendama is a traditional Japanese toy that has its humble beginnings back in the 17th century. In 2013, the kendama gained its worldwide popularity with a modern style of play which includes influences from other skill toys such as yoyo, diablo and juggling. This year, KendamaSG would like to showcase kendama as a medium of self-expression where players are able to be get creative and show off their skills to be crowned ‘King of Flow’.
