SSF is a non-profit organisation catered to the social and community arena in Singapore. Annually SSF provides our youth in Singapore with stages at popular malls or youth hub to showcase their talents, skills and abilities in the performing arts, visual art forms, lifestyle trends, entrepreneurship, technology, health and environment.

SSF is self funding with some support from its supporters, but the main bulk of cost of expenses is self managed. Thus the need to seek funding on its own for self maintenance for sustenance of the project and also for nurturing, mentoring and grooming programme to be an effective element of progression and process of one’s growth in the areas of interest.

Targeted at youths aged 14 to 39 years old, the Singapore Street Festival provides an avenue for young talents to bond with peers who share the same passion and connect with popular culture.

One of Singapore Street Festival most passionate focus is its unwavering allegiance to a melee of beliefs: internationalism, multiculturalism, peace, freedom and love.

One other focus is looking at ways to help the future youth towards its creation of works, it’s nurturing of works, and its delivery of works – also looking at collaborations with mentors, with professionals, with right contacts so that they may gain confidence, guidance, and grooming of self and its works.

Since its inception in 2002, the Singapore Street Festival has witnessed encouraging participation from people of all nationalities, ethnicity and professions.

Focusing on the ‘street’ context is pivotal in maintaining the vitality, energy and authenticity of the Festival. It is a style that speaks across the generations – from daughters to mothers, sons to fathers, amateurs to professionals.
